Responsibilities include: 

• Support in implementing comprehensive outreach strategies to engage a broad spectrum of community members 

• Participate in community events, workshops, pop-ups, and information sessions to disseminate and gather information about the Comprehensive Plan updates 

• Utilize various communication channels, including social media, newsletters, and community bulletin boards to keep residents informed 

• Establish and maintain positive relationships with community organizations, businesses, schools, and other stakeholders 

• Collaborate with local leaders and influencers to enhance community participation in the planning process 

• Facilitate discussions to gather feedback and address concerns from different segments of the community 

Data Collection and Analysis: 

• Work closely with our project team to collect qualitative and quantitative data on community preferences, needs, and priorities 

• Compile feedback from community engagement activities to provide valuable insights for the comprehensive plan updates

Examples of Outreach and Engagement activities may include:

• Pop-Up and Intercept Events: in-person events that may combine with other community events 

• Distribution of Outreach Materials: aid in delivery of outreach materials to community partners 

• 1:1 Interviews: one-on-one interviews with community members  

• Neighborhood/Civic Group Meetings: presenting information to the regularly scheduled neighborhood and civic group meetings  

• Speakouts: more formal presentation at a dedicated event or meeting
