Historic Preservation Program
The Historic Preservation Program is now part of the City Planning and Design Division, bringing historic preservation together with the Division’s planning, urban design, and community-focused work. This transition strengthens the program by expanding the resources, expertise, and collaboration available to support property owners, historic neighborhoods, and preservation efforts throughout El Paso. By working together, our team can better connect preservation with broader planning and design initiatives while continuing to protect the places, buildings, and stories that contribute to El Paso’s unique character.
