The Mobility Advisory Committee (MAC) will help provide oversight and accountability for the Complete Streets Policy.
The adopted “El Paso Complete Streets Policy” includes the formation of two committees comprised of internal and external stakeholders to guide the inclusion and implementation of complete streets principles within the city’s design process for public works and transportation related projects.
In addition to their transportation function, streets are the largest form of public space in the City.
A Complete Streets policy serves to create a connected, resilient, and equitable transportation network through a shift in street and road design that ensures equitable access to community resources for all people, including those who walk, bike, use a wheelchair, use public transportation, or drive.
